Default Oxygen sensors

Would clearing the code after changing 02 sensors help performance?

Yes, if you had a CEL for a malfunctioning O2 sensor, or code for any sensor, then I would recommend clearing the codes out. So you can confirm that you fixed the problem or not. The CEL will reset it self after a few drives, but it’s better to pull your codes write them down, then reset it. If it cones back on, you’ll want to see if the codes are the same or if some don’t return, it can make it easier to diagnose if there are other problems.
