Default I need your help again.....

ClubLexus is more helpful than any dealer has ever been so thanks guys! As soon as I have a question or encounter a problem, this forum is the first thing that comes to mind......

Problem: My steering wheel is not coming down. I click the "Seating 1" position and "Seating 2" position and nothing. At first it would not even telescope but this morning it began to. Now it doesn't come down. I have put the key in, pulled the key out, set the alarm, everything I could think of. I read in an earlier post that disconnecting the battery could reset the ECU or something like that. Could someone please help me figure out what to do. It's HELLA-HARD to drive with the steering column so high .

Thanks in Advance.

You may need to reset the steering ECU by using the manual setting( steering adjuster on the left side of the steering column).
Manually adjust the steering bottom down about 8 times or more until the steering goes down another 1/2 inch. Then do the same thing on the UP position, IN and OUT. I hope that the motors not locked up on your car and you still be able to adjust it manually. By using this procedures, it will reset the steering ECU because if you don't adjust it for a while the ECU forgot it's position( sleepy ECU ...lol).
