I just got the car and driver January 2004 issue in my mailbox and on page 38 they said this car is the next gs430. I have typed the article for you to read.

"What you are looking ar here is the next Lexus GS430. It is the car with which lexus plans to redefine itself, not just in the sheetmetal department, although this will usher in a whole new look for the future lexus vehicles, but in its home country of Japan as well. Lexus's parent company Toyota will launch the Lexus line of cars in Japan beginning in August 2005. The LF-S (for Lexus Future Sedan) packs a 300 plu hp, 4.3 liter V8 driving the rear wheels and an electric motor driving the fronts (making it four wheel drive). Don't be surprised to see a hybrid GS car make it to production by 2005.

Actually, it's just listed in the above thread as what it may be. There's no confirmation that it's actually going to be the next GS....if this is the first legit post regarding the next Gen GS from a reputable source hey let's hope this is just the beginning of what we've all been waiting for.....Good lookin out, i'll have my mag. in the mail soon enough.

I talked to someone who has seen the new GS and he said that this is not it.
