Aren't you supposed to disconnect your third break light when installing a non factory, or factory spoiler with LED's? I just saw a GS today, I was behind it and when the driver hit the breaks I was blinded by a bunch red light! The third break light came on, and so did the break light on the spoiler, let alone the tail lights.........It looked kinda of tacky!?

One would think so, but the Lexus 3rd brake light on the back deck will cause a warning light on the dash to go off if removed.

There are several workarounds folks have done on CL. Did you try a search to look for them? Try 'disable third brakelight' ,
'rear deck brakelight' or similar.

I know Flow here in GSO did that same thing to a friend of mine when she added the factory spoiler. They told her it would be $400. to have it not come on
