NEW Modds - I should have done this 1st
#33
Thanks 400DGRZ,
That pic is my friend's Tire/Rim Shop in Montgomery 'Pelham Tire' but all my work was done at Hennessey Lexus in Gwinett -Atlanta area. Best of all - it was worked on by V VT-i - One of our own club lexus members
I'm extremely happy and wished I had done it sooner..!

Tried out my TC tonite.....
Finally had a little time and thought i would try out my TC and see what it would do..
I was talking to V VT-i about how I drove the car and telling him I'm use to very powerful cars and that i don't punch it cause on past cars you will be fish-tailing if you punch it. So, my style of driving - I made a habit of nailing the gas 2/3 of the way and then quicking nailing it fully for a good / controlled take off..
Well, I tried that and yep no wheel spin the car just shoots like a rocket forward.
Yet, I was kind of disappointed alittle cause I hear all these stories of laying down 50 feet of rubber at will from other CL members with TC's..
I was driving by my parents house and they live on this dead-end street and its a not so busy street.. I pulled up to the Stop sign, waited til all the traffic was gone - took VSC off and nailed it!! (NO Power braking) All i can says is WOOOOOHOOOOO... Surprised me! The car laid atleast 50 feet of rubber and Both tires were spinning I can feel the LSD working and the car tried to shift to the left a tiny tad but the LSD kept it straight.. That was awesome.. Makes me want to nail it a every red light, stop sign, intersection, everywhere..
The coolest thing about the burnout is that - my car still felt like a Lexus and not like a camaro or mustang.. It was so smooth yet i can hear the tires a blazing behind like this quiet "shhhhhhh" sound with smoke... I don't think lexus ever intended the car to do that but it does it so perfectly in everything it does..
I am so happy I don't even know what to do with myself..

1QWKGS4 - big congrats and I love your 'test' of the TC and LSD. LMAO I can relate having the same mods.
Way to go, and yes, VVT-i is the best.
We need to get together some time!

Thanks Paul, Brendan and Lexism;
I will definetly make it to the next SELOC event.
I feel so racy - I want Brendan to film us doing some burnouts!!
Anyone else with the same modd want to do a burnout video.?.
Paul - I here from Nuum - that you are burning them tires at every stop. HAHA I keep watching that video that brendan film of Jamie's Supercharged GS.. WOW --
Is there anyway we can set up a mini-meet anytime soon (sooner than the next SELOC)..?
