throttle response

i have a 98 gs 400. when i depress the throttle is wont accelerate untell it reaches about 1/4 throttle, In other words i cant leave from a stop with out chirping the tires. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME

You could try to reset your ECU by unpluging your Battery for about 15mins. This will reset your computer and all its settings. Might be worth a shot.

sounds like it could be ur tranny, have you kept up with maintenance on the tranny ?
