Default Dang GS Curse strikes

Arghhhhhh!!!!! I just found a 3 inch long scrape on the polished lip of my new wheels/tires I installed last night...not even 24 hrs on my ride yet!!! The scrape is on the lip....from wheel face to the outer edge of the lip.

I know it wasn't there this last night and this morning.

Its pretty safe to assume the wheel alignment shop did it. I dropped off my car this morning and picked it up at noon. Drove home directly and parked it in the garage. About 3 hrs later, I was cleaning the wheels and noticed the 3 inch scrape.

I called them ASAP...and brought the car down for them to take a look at it. At first they denied how their equipment can even create such a scrape. Eventually, they apologized and told me they were very careful...even placed towels on the wheels for protection. They will pay for the cost to repair.

Im not sure how deep this scrape is.....but I know the clearcoat is messed up already. Any ideas to repair?

wao.... sorry to hear about that! at least they went ahead and fessed up to their fault. A lot of the time, they would just keep on denying it. Good luck with getting it fixed!

words of advice

never ever leave your cherished gs creation into the hands of another without staying and over seeing everything from point a to z..

i trust no one , even when on the rare occasion my ride goes into the dealer , i have such a understanding with them , they let me drive into the svc bays and onto the lifts , if not or a shop wont let you near to your ride while fixing , go somewhere that will

phml >>>>>> sorry about those beautiful wheels bro , but please learn from it

Sorry to hear about the scratch man, I know you're furious!! Get a high quote for close to $300.00 dollars and you'll have an Axis Milano spare.

Good luck, whatever you decide.
