I have the same lexus!
I have the same color and model since March of 2003 - I love it! You won't get tired of looking at the opalescent sea with the charcoal interior - just gets classier and classier with age! I still can't believe I own this car! Happy Howlidays!

did i hear you say 50 minutes to buy the car?? while i really do think Lexus does a nice job in
just about every category, i can't believe how long it took for me to clear the deal.
i've seen people go through grad school quicker.

dseag2 -That is the main of my purchase. The quality of Lexus cars.
gserep1- I agree man, No more waiting in the service bay by rude dealers. No more stupid issues to deal with it
I love GS4 - Great minds think alike
LuvDogz- Yeah the Color is amazing. It looks like a 4 paint combo. It is unique and I dont see it much. The best part about it is you dont have to pay 700 bucks for paint like the German brands.
ddarbs55 - I swear 50 min. IT would have have been less too but they had to prep the car!
Lexus GS3 and Panda GS430. No mods for now. I paid cash for my car so I dont have anymore!
Pics will come for sure tomarrow. I dont mean to lag it. I will make it a new thread too.

Btw are there any previous Mercedes-Benz or BMW owners here? How do you guys compare your experiences?
? I had 96 Audi A4, bought it new. After the warranty expired it developed the transmission problems. I sold it and got 95 SC400. I liked SC so much, two years later I bought 00GS400. I enjoy both cars a lot. Actually my wife enjoys GS more than I do since it's her daily ride. But on weekends it gets the proper dose of faster driving .

Welcome to the club! Congrats on your new GS. Mystic Sea Pearl Opalescent is a unique color. Mint green on day time and dark gray in the night. My friend's ES330 has the same nice color.

My E320 was an electrical nightmare. Of course dealers werent even helpful.

I don't know if we can discuss too much on MB since this is a LEXUS site.
How many milesdo you/have you had on your E3? What year is it? What's the
minor and major problems so far?
I have a 2001 S500. The seats are horrible!!!Not top grade leather like any Lexus!
I can't believe a cd changer was OPTIONAL! The first day when I drove it home, my
back actually was stiff!!! On the GS,oh that was nice. The service for the MB
was substandard. For a loaner, they gave me a "C"hevrolet Cavalier
at House of Import/Buena Park. Fletcher Jones was a
tad better, but still unorganized and a little "snooty", especially the sales.
They ran out of loaner cars. You know what that means?
Too many MBs are getting serviced!!! I didn't regret TOO much buying this car,
but not what I really expected for the price. Last time the airbag light came on,
but went away. So I didn't take it to the dealer because they can't fix what they don't see.
Notice the "C" stood for chevrolet, not even a C class. However, I did get the
C for the next loaner. That was for their 10k service.
I really appreciated Lexus service after going to the MB dealer!
I guess you have to appreciate with what you have when you have something
worse. (hope that sounds right)
Don't be like me to wait this long to even get rims. That should be the first MOD!!

I just looked at the New GS pics and I have the biggest grin on my face that I bought the current one!
That thing looks horrid!
Great friendly forum. I appreciate the welcome.
CrazyGS- More problems then I could list. Faulty sensors, Radio, AC, Windows, Nav, Instrament cluster, BAS, ESP errors, and on and on.
I live in Los Angeles.
I dont plan to get another Mercedes-Benz unless its an E55AMG. What a gorgeous car! Anything else in the MB line up is just not worth it anymore. I love the CL55 but $$$$$$. No thanks!
