Hello everybody! 
Let me introduce myself a little bit.
My name is Robert and I am from Southern California
I just picked up 2004 Lexus GS300 from Longo Lexus. Got 3500 off MSRP!!! i paid 38,000 before taxes.
Mystic Sea Opalescent on Light Charcoal. Its so beautfiul. I will have some pics shortly
This car is just perfect. The fit and finish of the interior puts my 2000 E320 to shame.(my previous car)
The drive is silky smooth and I LOVE the white gauges.
The wood and Oh my God. The leather is amazing quality! I am very happy right now!
I didnt get too many options. Just the base option that has Memory package and heated seats.
I really wanted the Mark Levinson system and xenons but they were part of a 4,000 dollar nav package withe the xenons and mark levinson. I did not like how Lexus made this option. But its ok. Stock system is fine.
Other than that the dealer service was just fantastic. I am hooked. I want to buy maybe a SC430 later on in the years.
Interested to getting to know some of the GS owners here. We are all so blessed in driving such a perfect machine.

Bluelex: About modding. I am not sure yet. I really want to keep the smooth ride on my car. I was somewhat disappointed of the lack of sport package. I like the stock 16s on the car but I do wish they were 17s.
romin: I bought the car from Jeff. Very cool guy. Sat down and did the numbers and 50 min later I was off in my Lexus. I wish there are more down to earth salesmen like lexus dealers. best car shopping experience ever. VIP type service. Never again will I go back to Mercedes-Benz..

Btw are there any previous Mercedes-Benz or BMW owners here? How do you guys compare your experiences?
My E320 was an electrical nightmare. Of course dealers werent even helpful.
