koreanpers, per the lexus owner's manual supplement, for 45k service one should replace engine oil and filter, replace air conditioner filter, rotate tires, inspect the following: exhaust pipes, brakes et al, steering linkages, rack and pinion assy. for leakage, ball joints and dust covers, drive shaft boots, auto transmission and differential oil, and body.

but if your car is classified as running under special operating conditions (towing a trailer or using a camper or cartop carrier; repeated short trips of less than 5 miles in temperatures below freezing; extensive idling or low speed driving for long distances as in heavy commercial use such as delivery, taxi or patrol car; operating on rough, muddy, or salt covered roads; operating on unpaved or dusty roads) you should in addition to the above inspect engine air filter, replace auto transmission and differential oil and inspect body/chassis nuts and bolts.

rotate tires, check wheel alignment, replace air filter, inspect brakes, steering linkages, drive shaft boots, boday and chassis nuts and bolts, exhaust system, brake system, rack and pinion assembly, replace A/T fluid, and differential oil. This 'Maintenance Handbook' is available when you vist Lexus of Wayzata or Maplewood, MN.

IMO only the 30K, 60K, 90K, etc. services should be followed. All the others (i.e. 15K, 45K, 75K, etc.) mostly include inspections.
