Default Thinking about buying a GS

I have a 2003 IS300 that is supercharged
Thinking about buying a used GS.

Would it be relatively safe to buy a GS400 with 10-20k miles?

very safe. the gs400 is a bullet proof car. the v8 block is very strong, and 10-20k miles is really NOTHING for the car at all

A supercharged IS and a GS4 are two great cars to have in the family

To be honest with you, finding a GS4 with 10-20K miles is almost a rarity, but if you can spot one, make sure it's in mint or excellent condition, and it will be worth the purchase. Good luck.

What do you think is the best year GS4 to get?

I heard some peole not liking the 430 because of the drive by wire. Others have said the quality seems to be lower than the 400. Is this true?

I was looking online, but most listed are by dealers or used car sales. I rather buy from a private owner (cheaper).

Well, do you think it's possible to get a CLEAN low mileage GS4 for a decent price? I'm willing to travel up to 200 miles to purchase.

Where else should I look? Is there a site somewhere, where private owners post their cars for sale?

My advice: Wait, look in the papers, follow up on leads in autotrader, ect... I bought my 98 GS3 with 34k miles in perfect condition for 18,500

Personally I would take the GS4 because it has the e-shift, and i think that would be fun. I think both the GS4, and 430 are drive by wire, correct me if im wrong.
