Well I succumbed and did the unimaginable....
I raised my car after much deliberation. 3/4 inch up front and a full inch (the horror!!!!) at the back.
But now I scrape nothing, drive real easy without being paranoid and car still retains the slammed look....kinda....
I guess plenty of room for a bodykit now, eh!??!?!?!

Still looks good. I wish I could think about dropping my car that low and only have to worry about scraping the bottom of the kit around here my bumber would be in a pothole!

Seriously, even a 3/4 inch raise makes a whole world of difference!
I mean, I can go into a parking structure and go up the ramp without hearing the loud SCCCRRAAAAPE.
I put my car on the lift and the whole bottom of my downpipe is now completely flat. I don't think that's any good for the performance since I think the overall volume of the downpipe has diminished from being flattened out.
Thank God the new Jic-Magic downpipe should be coming here pretty soon......

You are right...the restriction will not do anything but reduce your performance. When you put on the new dp see if you can fabricate some type of skid plate to prevent it from happening again.

IT LOOKS GREAT
I think it looks fine. If the car was all show and no go, I would say lower it to the rims, and sell admission tickets for everyone to look at it. Some folks like to drop them until they drag. That's OKAY.
But in the real world, where dips and bumps exist, it is not practical to lower it too far. I shudder to think of the money people lose putting on the lower kits, only to have them slam on the ground and shatter while going over a bump. HELLO! Most of us have to USE our cars on roads that are NOT perfect. I can't dodge every hole or bump out there. NUFF SAID.
I may not be too popular with my view on lowering, and to each his own, but I don't have extra money to spend trying to fix or replace items I have broken that way. I guess OLD AGE makes you change your views somewhat..hehehe..
Keep up the good work
