How did you guys get rid of those front lisence plate holes?

If you have a NAPA auto parts store or a CARQUEST neer you they sell black body plugs in various sizes last time I brought some I think they cast me like 5$ for 10 of them you will end up with 2 black dots on you bumper ,,,,,,,fourtenatly for me my did not come with and plate holes in the bumper

not too shabby now that i looked at it...

but for my case, someone hit me (broke the paint only), and broken slate/grile part...painting was the only sound way to go

WOw, thats surprising, but they are painted (didnt think about that). Shipping is still kind of high though.

Still beats a whole new painted bumper...

Another option is to simply paint a pair of license plate bolts with your touch up paint and install them.

It's not as clean as the plugs, but if you're removing a frame, you already have the bolts.

Mine has 4 also. 2 for the braket and 2 for the plate. don't ask me why they couldn't use shorter bolts.

I also, wonder why they didn't use shorter bolts.

On the GX there are no holes, just indentations where the plate goes. No bracket is used.

On the GS, I don't know if there were original indentations or not. However, there is a plastic bracket used, which has two holes to screw onto the bumper. Then the bracket has two built-in nuts to screw the plate onto. In my case, the furnished bolts are too long, therefore making an additional two holes on the bumper.
