OK, its a 99' GS400 and the wood grain on the center console does not match the other wood grain inside? Also the wood grain above by the moonroof is peeling... I guess this is an aftermarket addition? Can it be peeled off and cleaned up? It just appears cheap as the wood textures do not match inside at all. Is there any problem in trying to remove these pieces? The one above seems like it would be easier than the one on the front center console. Suggestions appreciatted, thanks kmh.

Sounds like you have an addon kit. Just peel it off and use some rubbing Alchol to clean up the residue!!

The end of my fingers are still sore from removing my first wood garnish package. I ended up buying the overhead kit from a different manufacturer and they didn't match up. Needless to say something had to go and in this case it was every thing else other than the overhead. The first company I bought from wasn't close at all as far as matching and it was one of those things that was bugging me anyway. I'm much happier with the second garnish package. Much richer looking than the cheaper first.
