Any recommendations for where to buy OEM parts for our cars besides the near by Lexus dealer? Any discounted OEM places. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Iron Toad actually located in Michigan,
Champion Gulf-Freeway Toyota in Houston
Carson Toyota/Lexus Parts in Southern CA.
All discount, do mail order and are very reputable. Contact details are just a search away.
BTW, Carson is the sponsor of the GS forum now so getting their contact info is easy. They're great to work with but won't ship fluids. I've used champion for that.
It's useful to do a little comparison shopping among these three. For whatever reason the price for the same part can vary more than I would expect. When I did the 60K on my SC and 45k on my toyota truck I got about half of what I needed from Carson and half from Champion (formerly Jay Marks). I've never used the toad but have checked their prices a few times.

All of the following I've used before for Lexus parts and have very good prices and are courteous to work with:
www.irontoad.com (Iron Toad)
www.lexustoyotamitsubishiparts.com (Spartan Motor Mall in Michigan)--they have a nice online parts catalog (pretty much all of the replacement parts that you can order for your car)
www.carsontoyota.com (in California)
Don't buy direct from their websites as they have a middleman that runs some of their services (thus add a nominal fee to all of th parts), and you should call the parts dealers directly for maximum savings. You should be able to get 20% off retail prices. Order based on locale for faster service.

Lexus-parts.com is a well-known vendor of this forum, and offers a wide selection of various OEM parts for any Lexus vehicle. They also sometimes offer great Internet discounts for certain parts such as keys and air filters (just browse through the ClubLexus Approved Vendors forum). Lexus-parts.com is based off of the Sewell Lexus dealership in Dallas, TX.
