Rod Millen also sells a slightly more agressive version of the factory spoiler; not just the lip you were talking about.
The RMM sides extend towards the rear window and the rear part of the lip extends longer and slightly up. It's hard to tell in the photos, but people I know who have the factory spoiler can tell my RMM is different right away.
This will also fit over your factory holes as well.
You can get it from Steve Ganz for less, than ordering it directly from www.rodmillenstore.com .

i mean, no warranty remaining on the thing.

I should have said Steve at Carson Toyota, you know the one sponsoring the GS forums, often has a banner flashing at the top of the page and is also listed in the approved vendor section?

Yo HiTechGS,
i called up the Hi Tech auto salon.
the guy was mad nice and helpful.
imma grab a wing and a roof spoiler from him ina week or so
