Count me in guys and here's a thought, check out pics of the new E class mirror (W211) I think, it looks like more of natural fit in the GS mirror housing, let me know what you think.

 

I'd definitely be interested. i was actually gonna' hit 2001HiTechGs for an offer to do mine
once i get my car lowered. I'm still in the market @ ~5-600 if Steve could make it work.

Dimming is a must. i just drove my wife's Camry at night and i felt blinded by every car behind me.
guess i just got spoiled using mine all the time

2001HiTechGs - since you only redid the shell you still have the dimming feature, right?

Yes Hameed good thinking I am defenitley interested in this mod. Since I bought the GS I have really been tossing around the idea but never had the time to start it, then I saw Jimmy's and was like whoa those look nice. So let's see what we can muster up.

I believe all the parts, prepped and ready for your local shop to paint. Not too bad. Actually, I am not sure if he needs the original mirror or not.

The only sticking point is that you'd have to be without your side mirrors while it is being retrofitted.

 

I am still exploring all options. Definitely not ruling out this one through Steve.
