Well I just looked at it again and had to edit it.

Thats about the only time I swear, is when I'm driving and I see one that fits the profile. Starbucks and cell phone in hand, driving her Excursion/Explorer/Suburban/ect. while she is the only one in the car, either 20 mph over the speed limit (eating all our gas) or 20 mph under on the freeway.

I actually say it so much my g/f now calls them when she sees them, even being the same gender.

Hei J-money...

you remind me of me about 5 years earlier. I was all over the place lookin for cars. I went from honda civic and accord, Acura Integra, Toyota Solara, Ford Mustang, Chevy Corvette, BMW 5 series, BMW M3, Lexus SC400, Mercedes C class, Mercedes E class... .whoo... lot more...

Hei, how do you like your A4? what are your impressions? Those are one of the brands unavailable here where I'm at. I'd like to get one. And I may be closer to getting one cuz I guess I might sell my GS3 after it comes back from the shop.

Hey manny,

Impressions of my A4. .... I bought it to take to the mountain for snowboarding, but I haven't been able to go yet. We had a big snowstorm and everyone bought up all the chains. My car has a very odd tire size: 235/45/17 So needless to say there were none left. Also its hard to get chains because they don't fit, I can only have cable chains.
Anyhow... it has been awesome. Corners like no other car I've been in. Audi's interior is top notch. There is TREMENDOUS space inside and the trunk. However, I'm one of those weirdo's that doesn't like space. I like the confined cockpit feel. My g/f is in love with it, fortunately, that way we don't eat the depreciation on it and get rid of it.
For the car its supposed to be its amazing. However, I demand a little more power and a little less head room. Great car though.

It's not THAT odd. Every stock GS4 with the "summer tire" option (most of them) has......................235/45/17.

Welcome!!

And you do know the current S4 has dropped the twin turbo V6 for the 4.2L V8 (since you were concerned about the turbos)?

Simply because the GS4 has the same tire size doesn't make it common. Wide tire, big rim isn't usually what chains are put on. Most people would buy a set of snow tires and put chains on those. Making it an uncommon tire to put chains on.

Also, I stated I was looking for a B5 s4. B5 is the body style of the 2000-2002 S4's. Since I don't have 50 large to drop on a new one.

EDIT: Also, as stated previously, the Quattro system makes it tight in the wheel well so normal chains don't fit, have to have cable chains, on top of all the other quirks.

Everyone knows that toyota makes the best transmissions in the world. So if toyota transmissions cant live up to your beating then nothing can(unless you ugrade to performance clutch etc..)

Thats hardly the truth. If you think your tranny is as good as the Supras then you are mistaken. If you think the Auto in IS300 is on par with that of the Supras you are mistaken. I understand that Toyota/Lexus have superior build quality in most respects, but different cars are built with trannys for different reasons. BMW has some good trannys, and how do you think MB does it with all the new AMG cars. Especially the Renntech (sp?) S55 with some ungodly torque and HP numbers.

The stock 235/45 17 tire size is an odd tire size even though a lot of GS's have them. Whenever I go to a tire shop they never have them. They always have to order them.
