Hi,

Does anyone knows how to remove the factory shift ****? Also, did anyone install the ECU them self? I have the ECU from L-tuned and it looks like a simple plugin, don't think it's necessary to bring to the dealer for installation, or may be I am wrong ....

Question Which ECU?

If you're talking about the steering ECU, it IS a simple plug-in mod. U'll have to reach up under the steering column to get to things - I believe Sasha ( LexusRules ) has the procedure detailed on his website www.SuperLexus.com so try there. Good luck - it's EZ!

Shift ***** are very easy. Just twist them off (try clockwise, if it doesn't work, then counter-clockwise. NO brainer) The key is to find a **** with the correct adaptor. If you buy a Japanese **** that says it comes with 3 adaptors to fit all Japanese domestic cars then you're fine. (Razo and Levoc does.)

Default Shift ****

Definitely counter-clockwise, 15-16 turns (remember this number if you're installing it back)
