Question How is the Chrome trim attached on the bumpers and doors?

Again, how is the chrome molding attached on the outside of the car? Is it like a sticker? once you take it off, can you put it back on

It is an adhesive backing. Once you remove it, you most likely will deform it and it will have to be replaced.

If you remove it very carefully you can attach it back using super glue. It was done on my car and to my knowledge it works well. However, if you end up removing it again, it may peel some of the paint. Super glue is very strong, so be careful.

The moulding has a double sided adhesive foam tape that stick to the moulding and the actually bumper. If you have the patience to take the old double sided tape off the moulding, then I think you can replace it with a new one from an automotive suppy place that sells it in 1/4 inch. I did find an aftermarket universal moulding that is almost an exact fit, but it's not a perfect replacement.

If you just need the front and rear chrome molding, it's less than a 100 dollars from Steve Ganz. That's what i paid some months ago. I'm not sure how much the rest of the chrome moldings cost, but it shouldn't be that much.

Personally, i would rather buy new ones then try to pry off the old ones. Less hastle.
