In the market for a GS400 and really want black leather in it. First choice is silver, but can you get black leather in a white GS? Only seen the tan. Also, what years if they differintiate? Thanks.

silver with black is pretty much the norm (although some have tan leather). On the other hand pearl white with black leather is a very rare combo. I can only think of one member that had that combo! Most times the white cars have tan or grey leather

I have white with black leaher. Black is the only interior I will get. I can't stand seeing black wrinkles in peoples tan leather interiors. As far as rare, I don't think it is any rarer than black on black. Usually black and white have tan interiors, but if you look hard enough, you should see quite a few out there.

Same here, I got DWP w/ black interior. I really don't know how rare it is to have the combo, but I consider myself lucky just because I have it the way I want it.

Nothing can compare with a nice shiny black interior. White exterior with a black interior will be very mean looking.

Whoa, 2 other members with white/black leather? I thought I was (and I mean was) the only one. Cool.
It was only made in 1998 and 1999, much rarer than black/black. They even discontinued white/black leather from the ES 300 (only years 92-94) and the LS 430 (available 01).

I have never seen a tan (or parchment or whatever) leather that I liked in a car. I especially can't understand it on black or red cars, where a black interior would look SO much better.

But I digress... I originally wanted silver with black leather until I saw it with the gray. I think the Lexus (and Mercedes, for that matter) gray leather interiors are the absolute perfect combination of looks and easy care.

SICK-I'll take some pics with the windows down asap. I always loved white cars with black interiors...when I found out the white doesn't come with black anymore and that parchment did...I was all over it!

I had no idea. That is ultra rare, like Richie's green/black leather. Even rarer since parchement was only offered the last 2 years.
