2005 or 2006?
I hear a lot of people calling the upcoming GS a 2006 but I think its a 2005. I took delivery of my GX in 01/2003 and it was still a '03.
If the GS is released 01/2005 my contention is it will be a 2005 GS

Valid point, but it'll be whatever Lexus decides it will be, model year-wise. I bought our first RX in May of 98 and it was called a 99. Calendar years and model years have no real cohesion any longer.

Cars of "the next year" go on sale in May-June of the year that is 1 less than the model year they are manufactured to be.
I.E. the 1992 SC400 was available in June of 1991. Lexus' Officially went on sale in June of 1989 for the 1990 model year. I used to hate the idea of it.... when i was younger I was a believer that cars of a certain model year should go on sale on January 1st of that year. But then the good season driving would be lost by those who waited?
