If you are going to sell it please sell the aftermarket parts and put it back to stock. Alot of people try to sell the car for 3-4k more just because they have that much in parts... Most people dont care.

Also, when you sell a car and have aftermarket parts it seems like its been beat/raced (IMHO).

So out of curiosity, do you guys think that's true of L-Tuned equipment as well, since you can buy the car off the lot (though rarely) with L-Tuned equipment already installed?

Like romin said....to guys that know what L-tuned was its a plus but for the general market it means nothing. If you take off the mods and sell them here in the classifieds you will get better value for the parts versus trying to sell the car with them.

But it seems to me that the cost of having the equipment swapped back out (assuming I'm too lazy and unmechanically-inclined to do it myself) could be more than the value of the parts on the open market. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I suspect that would be the case. Or at least the difference would be close to negligible.

It all depends on what parts you have. Wheels...no brainer, suspension...may even hurt re-sale, springs, shocks coilovers etc...too market specific. How many people shoping for a GS will want one modified? What is the first thing that goes through ones mind when they hear aftermarket this and that installed?

Food for thought....

I dont know what the car is worth, but i'd bet those Blitz wheels, and Tein CS would sell REALLY quick around here!!

Trust me, a modded car is more headache than its worth when selling, how many 50+ year old couples are going to want JDM 18" wheels and a coilover suspension? Not many, conversely, everyone will buy a stock car, even us gearheads!!

Good luck man

How much are you planning to sell for? If the price is right, I'm interested.

28 with stock rims. Not worth my effort to put the stock shocks back it. It was pain in the *** getting the front done.

KBB prices are the lowest valuation anywhere. Sure you can sell a vehicle at KBB prices but I wonder whose paying KBB to state those prices. KBB are lower than NADA, lower than Edmunds. Funny how Carmax links valuations to KBB.
