Please tell me where you got the chrome taillight covers. Who makes them? $$$?

The tail light garnish is an original Toyota accessory part from Japan. I got it as a gift, I don't know what the cost is. I think Steve at Carson Toyota can help you get it.

i agree. excellent choice in mods.
the taillight covers are a very nice touch as well. the car is A+

Thanks! You're right, the side markers are not lit up. Here in California, it's not legal to have it clear. I have it off to not create attention to it.

Since you have them off, why don't you tap them into the front blinkers and have them
as side markers? I did this and it worked perfect! Here's another mod for you and
anyone out there.

im in california also, and from the last time I looked, no where in the vehicle code handbook does it say a clear sidemarker is illegal, but it definately does say that all "signaling" side markers must be amber in color. I haven't run into one single person that has ever been pulled over for a "always on" clear side marker.... but I could be wrong.....

Actually it's not the clear light that people get hastled on, it's the missing amber reflector. In any case, I'm just playing it safe.
