That pic was actually taken LAST winter, right after I moved to the DC area. We had a bunch of storms with record snowfall, and everyone told me it was an anomaly, it never snows that much, blah, blah...

Yesterday was the fifth ice storm in the last two weeks. The snow still hasn't melted from a storm three weeks ago. It's been bitterly cold and windy since Christmas. Can you tell that I HATE living here??!!

 

i love this picture it shows it is a lexus and is quite a good picture

i have to wonder though if some of the snow is from them blowing snow on top of it while clearing the road.

 

now are you sure there is a car in this picture?

 

No, the blown up snow is drifting from the wind during the storm, but we got about 40" of snow in total. You can see the "dirty snow" that was pushed up by the plow and it doesn't get as high as the drifts do.

On a side note, I don't park my car there anymore. During another winter storm my wife and I watched a snowplow get stuck out near there, and the guy driving just kept revving his engine and slipping closer and closer to our car... He finally got going, but it made us nervous enough to find out that we get a reserved parking spot around the corner with the house we bought (nice of the previous owners to share that little tidbit of info). The Acura still gets the driveway, though, because at least it's DRIVEABLE in winter weather! The GS hasn't moved in almost a month now due to all the snow and ice.

Wow that is horrible, well at least when i get my GS (hopefully), i'll be sure to fight for the garage spot during the winter time. Gonna have both of the lex in the garage while the accord sits outside.

 

Not as bad as the week before, but thought I would take a pic anyway, thats what I get for livin in Chicago.
