Question Fast Blink Right side turn signal

When I use the right turn signal the light in the dash as well as the exterior turn signal lights on the outside blink fast. The owners manual suggests a bulb is burnt out however both the front and rear turn signal lights appear to be lit and blinking. Any suggestions?

Correct.

If the turn signal flashes fast you should first see if a bulb is burnt out. If none of them are burnt out then your relay needs to be replaced. Now as to where the turn signal relay is on a GS, I have no idea, but I do know they are usually very cheap and easy to replace.

Default A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS

Is this problem only present on one side? If everything blinks normally on the other side, then it can't be a flasher relay unless you have one relay for each side (which I doubt).

Do you have any indications that a bulb is out? If NOT, then this is very strange indeed.

Please let us know what you find out.

As far as I can tell the bulbs light both fron and back. Unless there is more than one bulb for the front end.

GSEREP1...there may be as many as 3 relays for flashing...one right, one left and one for hazzards!!

Most cars have at least two relays... one for each side... then some use a seperate relay for hazards as well. (I see Letsride already beat me to the punch)

leebarroll -

I know you got a GS...but there's a TSB for the ES for this same issue.

Good luck, bro.
