there was two reasons why im deciding between a Q45 and a GS300/400......one is that the '99 model is about the same in price.

and really im not too impressed by the shape and style of the LS400......plus it costs more than both.

i really love the shape of the 99 Q45 and the 99 GS series.

theres really not that much information out there about the infiniti so i was hoping one of you guys might have some experience with it.

is there anything specifically that i should look for when test driving a '99 gs300/400? certain known problems or anything?

thanks.

Talking Just got a 98 gs3

I just bought a 98 gs300 . I bought the car from the original owner for $15,200 . The car has 91k mi. but looks like new. The only problems i've found is some fog on the HL lenses which polished out ok and a bit of wind noise in the moonroof which i'm still working on. I originally wanted to get either a gs400 or an ls400 but my main objective was to buy the best deal i could find on any model Lexus. This car has good low end torque (though not blinding) and real nice mid range so when I ask it to pass another car it responds just fine. I'm absolutely elated with this ride! Good Luck

I feel the same way about my '03 GS300. It has a very smooth power delivery... plenty of response for anything I need it to do.
