http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...or=&cardist=10

this price seemed kinda low.

if i went to see this car, other than inspecting to see if body work has been done, what other things would i check for?

That seems to be good deal man, go check it out. If you like it, just have your mechanic give a good once over and good luck!

Before you go look at it have the owner give you the vin and check it out on carfax and with your insurance company. This may help uncover any hidden gotcha's!!

man i did a search on "rattles" and now im scared......seems like its a common problem with the gs 98-99 series.

and if its out of the factory warranty its coming out of my pocket.

i guess thats something to keep in mind when i do a test drive, i cant stand rattles so if i hear the moonroof, dash or glove box rattle i guess ill have to pass.

The best is to see and test drive the car yourself. If you like the car then you can take it to Lexus Service and have it checked by a qualified Lexus mechanic before you buy.

Good price for a car that appears to be clean, one advantage to buying used, the dashboard rattle and other common problems have probably been addressed by the previous owner. I thought you were holding out for NAV and HID's?
