Angry Look at my 99 GS4...

Hey guys, just picked up my car from the shippers on Sunday. To my disappointment, there were some major dings that were never disclosed of in telephone conversations with the dealer. I'll post some pics here...

Get on the horn with them ASAP. Did they send you pics before the transporter picked it up?

Don't worry, I've already contacted the dealer. I won't name names (yet...), but they are the biggest Chrysler Dealer in the midwest and a 5-star at that. I would have expected a little more professionalism and common courtesy. They never disclosed anything in terms of damage or whatnot during my numerous phone conversations with my salesman when I asked about it. Now the internet sales manager is talking to me and he is blaming on the shipper. All I know is I'm majorly pissed. I was all giddy when I was on my way over to pick it up and to be disappointed like that... man words can't describe it...

What the HELL???This sucks!!! Was this on one side or both side of the car?
Did you get pictures when the car was at the dealer?
So who's going to pay?

Total neglect! Who was the shipper?
I just received my 00 GS4 Monday and boy was I exicited when I got the call that it came in!
Everything was as I expected. The car is in excellent shape, inside and out. (Except needing a wash)
It was handled with extreme care by the shipping transporter could not be happier!
Sorry to hear and see the pain of what happened.

Angry GRRRR....

man, that makes me mad... i had a car shipped once to my house on an open-carrier... NEVER AGAIN. i had similar problems, and i had to deal with it (maybe b/c i didnt press the issue enough). but if it was MY lex and that happened to me... i will fight til the end of it until either the carrier or dealer paid for it... and DONT, under ANY circumstances compromise... if the damage was not there before, what the hell did you pay the carrier for?? its just not right. if the damage was there before, than the dealership should make it right... in any event, if you have to get a lawyer involved and its worth their fee, do it b/c it looks like the whole car has to be repainted. GOOOD LUCK and let us know what happens.
