New body in 2006 or 2005?
I've seen posts below referring to the new GS body coming as a 2005 model and pics below showing the 2006 GS (which I really like)...
which is it?

The new 3rd gen GS will be sold as a 2006 model. However, it will be for sale in spring 2005 (aka early release 2006 model).

No problem
Are you leaning towards buying a new '06 GS as a replacement for your BMW 540i? Or are you still leaning towards a new BMW 5-series or the MB E500 as you were looking before?

No, I'm leasing (company deal) a 04 GS430 for 3 years and will then look at the new GS when the lease is up or another car.

Sounds great--in 3 years, I'm sure there will be some running changes and/or more performance options, so waiting is not a bad thing.
