Awww yes... To blackwood the stereo and HVAC controls would be sweet. As a matter of fact, take a look at my next project... What you see is a sample GS synthetic wood trim piece from exotic wood dash that was once a factory match burlwood. Now it's blackwood to match the rest of my pieces in the car.

No, that was just a sample burlwood piece that I sent to the shop to see if they could turn it into blackwood without screwing up the 3M tape on the back. Since they can do this, I will be sending them a GS dash kit to do in Blackwood. I believe this shop has never done anything like this before so it's still going to be in the testing stages. Henry and I will keep this thread up to date with the progress. I'm also waiting on my leather shift **** that was done in blackwood too..

yup, the 3m thing was a test piece, i didn't get to look at it in person but from pics it looks good. talk about shift **** i should be calling the shop again tonight it should be done
