Doesn't it look like the DIY Chrome grill?

Yes. That's what it basically is if you remove only the front part of the big slats on the 01+ grille. The 98-00 grilles have thinner vertical slats and smaller 'L' emblem.

Here's a closeup:

Thumbs up Looks good!

Very classy look- how much and where did you get it?
Neo-you are correct; my '00 stock grill has more vertical slats than the sportsdesign grill does (or the '01 and up) and of course is not chrome either...This is a look I could go for if the price is right!

I swapped mine out two years ago and I really like it. I've thought about changing out mine but there is only two grilles I'd change it to: TTE or JP. Both are not cheap so I'm not in a big hurry. I have other mods that have higher priorities.

If you want one, contact Steve Ganz. remember you will need the grille AND the emblem since the emblem changed between the 98-00 and the 01+. Since I don't know what the current market for these are, I can only say that the grille and emblem will be under $200 new. That's a bargain compared to the TTE (a little less than $400 + paint) or the JP (almost $900).

Hey Chris, I just noticed your sig. Nice to see another bronze car on board. Although there are probably a few more, you are only the fourth that I can remember.

There should not be. I have a 98 and the grille fits perfectly. Remember, since you have a 2000, you'll need to buy the 'L' emblem in addition to the grille.

In case you are curious to see what it would look like on your car :
