New camera! New Pics! All at nite!!!!
Well, I am trying to learn some of the functions of the new Nikon D70 I got and took some pics at night. As most of you probably know, it's very very hard to take good pictures at nite. Brendan Lim can attest to that!
Anyway, enjoy. I took mostly "a$$" pics because I really like the rear end of the Aristo better.....

A token HID shot for all of you HID freaks out there. Foglamps are PIAA Platinum Whites. And I am **Still** too lazy to change the inner citylights to superwhite polarg M4s.....

I could always change the exposure (levels) on photoshop, but I think that would take away the whole point of this collage.....
What do you think?

Well, good thing the pics came out exactly how I wanted it. Hmmm, I wonder if I changed the WB setting to fluorescent would it make a difference.......

Don't bother with anything less than 1/50 on the shutter without a tripod! Even the shutter click vibration is enough to make a very small difference in sharpness, use a good tripod with a remote shutter cable or self-timer.
Use f/5.6 for a balance with the darkness and the lights around you when shooting at night. Try a higher ISO to reduce your exposure time with the tradeoff of noise/grain.

My next buy would be a tripod for sure. But I was feeling a little ashamed as it is standing in the middle of the street in the middle of the night taking pics of my own car. Are we vain yet??
