Cool New Wheels, couple of pics

Hey guys, just picked up some new wheels on wednesday and took a few pics. These are the Giovanna Barbados in 20x10 40mm / 20x8.5 36mm. The lips on these were way bigger than i expected(3.25 rear 2.25 front), almost a little too big but it works. I went with a 275/35/20 in the back which was just a little on the big side. On the way home with all my stock wheels in the back my back tires were rubbing pretty good. I went to pep boys and picked up some spring helpers for like $6 which jacked up the car in the back like 0.5-0.75in and no more rub After some measurement it looks like i can trim the fender like 1/4 to 1/2" and the tire will fit in the fender no problem. Ill keep you guys updated on this. Here are a few pics i snapped with my friends camera, more to come soon though!

I have a couple buddies that are interested in these wheels, I think they look pretty nice. I dont think the 275/35-20 route was a good choice though, that back tire looks VERY thick!

I would like to see what this baby looks like with 275/30s and a drop!!!

yeah im not too happy with how thick the tire is that much but it will fit when i drop it on the tein cs. Ive been contemplating tossing the tires up on ebay but i still want to wait a little first.

Nice wheel shot man! I'm gonna send my boy this pic, he has had his eyes on these since last summer!!! LOL

As far as the tire goes, throw on ebay and cop the 30 series man, since you have a chunky, wide rear rim, you dont need such a chunky tire. just my .02 do what ya like. Talk about B-L-I-N-G

I like those Giovanna's you have. That definitely is a meaty tire but once you drop the car it will clean up nicely. Stick with the 275 width though, the car looks real aggressive with it

say what you want, but those rears are P-PHAT!! but not too much in a bad way, they still
don't overpower the car, but they're close. i agree, the 30's would probably look even better.
either way, the rims look tight.
that's an abslolutely great shot of you runnin' away.

Thumbs up

good pics. even though i dont usually like full faced wheels, on the GS they just seem to look right. I like them. Those moving shots are bad ***, almost like the shots you see in magazine adds.

i like wheels, even if u trim the wheel well and can get it tucked away under there i think it will still stick out 2 fat when looking at it.......if u can , when funs allow definately change 2 275/30/20...trust us u will b blown away when looking at b4 and after pics when compareing the 2........good luck......if u do decide 2 the tiens cs's , u'll love em.....
