Thumbs up I really like your trunk display...

I have to say that your trunk set-up flows very well and the tank doesn't clash with anything. How do you like the zapco amps. From your sub location do you get all the bass inside the car or is it mainly for show purpose? That 15 farad cap is a beast....Good job

I am interested because I am going through an audio upgrade and I just got two Zapco amps off ebay for an awesome price - I got the C2K-2.0X (2 channel) to power the subs and a C2K-2.5X (4 channel) to power the front component speakers.

Now looking for a good SQ sub (a pair of 12's or one 15). I will be getting the Pioneer Premier DEX-P9 and DEQ-P9 (active crossover all the way!! - none of the passive crossover stuff for me).

I am interested in hearing what your audio setup is.
As for SQ subs have you given IMAGE DYNAMICS, JL AUDIO, Elemental designs, or even MOREL a try? Kicker makes a great quality product but from my experiance it enginered and geared to a really loud and bass oriented system and doesn't do well in the reproduction requirement of an SQ system. Now I'm not saying anything bad about kicker, I'm simply stating the facts and what my ears tell me.Remember kickers slogan "liven loud"

Which specific model subs of those manufacturers are you referring to?
1. Image Dynamics - IDQ 12?
2. JL Audio - 15W3 ?
3. Elemental Designs?
4. Morel?

It seems everybody has a strong opinion about which subs are better for SQ.

Know what winners of SQ competitions are using? That might be a better indicator of what is good for an SQ setup. Let me know what you think.

whats up hameed my amps are the zapco d-9.0 they are the digital amps that you have to program with a lap top. you picked up a nice set of amps. stay away from a 15" sub i hate 15's nothing bad but i think they sound like crap. i have three 12's i would recomend a pair of 10's or even three 10's for the type of set up you are doing. zapco amps love to have an odd number of subs hooked up to them. if and when i redo my trunk i am going with 10's. next time you in our neck of the woods hit me up i will be glad to show you my set up, just one thing dont forget to bring some ear plugs.

Dee that chrome NOS bottle compliments your trunk so well. What NOS system did you end up going with?

good stuff! I personally dont think that there is a need for 160hp extra on the 400 unless you feel the need... the need for speed!
