Default Vsc Light On And Abs Light On?

I was installing a spoiler that I bought on my 2000 GS300 yesterday.I had my brother pump the brakes a few times to see if the trunklid light was a brake light. Then I realize the light stop lighting up. After I started the car it would not shift into gears, VSC light was on and the ABS light was on? PLease help. I took of the battery and no luck.
Thanks

How much did it cost you to fix the ABS sensor?

Lightbulb VSC & ABS Light ON

Same thing happened to me... My lower ball joint gave out, luckily I was just parking. Anyway I disconnected the front wheel speed sensor and now the VSC & ABS Lights are ON...
I did some research and I think I found the solution. Ihave the '99 GS300 Factory Repair Manual on CD and this is how to reset the lights. Apparently the DTC Code has ro be re-set on the ECM.
Go to the DLC1 connector under the hood (that's the connector with "DIAGNOSTIC" marked on top next to one of the Fuse/Relay box.
1- Connect (jump) the terminals marked "Tc" and "E1" (diagram is under cap)
2-Remove the SHORT PIN in the DIAGNOSIC connector
3-Turn ignition ON
4- Pump the BRAKE pedal 8 times within 5 seconds... this will clear the DTC code stored in the ECM
5-Remove the "Jump " wire used and reconnect the Shot Pin.
I will try this this afternoon ... I will report if it works.
I'm including the DIAGNOSTICS DI-412 pdf file from the factory repair manual, hope it helps...

Default Problems with ABS and VSC

I changed the speed sensor cable, and yet still the ABS, VSC, and VSC off lights are still lit up. I did try to reset the ECU, but to no avail.

Does anybody know how to reset the ABS and VSC without having to go to the dealership.

Thanks
b
