I have done some searching, but with no luck. I could not locate VIN tag any where on the trunk of my 2000 GS4. Could anyone out there confirm this matter? And if there is a VIN on the trunk, would you mind telling me it location? If you get some pictures would be great. Thanks.

I suspected the car has been repainted before I bought it last year. I am trying to determine whether it has been in an accident. Carfax reported clean.

The vin for the trunk are located behind the trunk covers. You will have to remove covers on each side out and you will see the vin stickers. Same lacation on the trunk lid.

I took the trunk lid cover off today. And yes there is a VIN right in the middle of the trunk lid. Here are the pictures.
