Question

Just purchased a 98 GS300 and am gonna need tires in about 7-10K. I prefer a quieter & cushier tire for my factor 16" rims. Im not too crazy about the factory tires. Any suggestions on tires???

I just bought some 17" bridgestone RE730 for $140 a piece from tirerack.com. The cool thing was, I payed for the lowest shipping and I still got it the next day. I guess it's cause I live in Chicago and their in Indiana. I got to say, I love the tires. They look great on my car and the drive is so much better. The price should be lower since you're going with 16" tires.

perelli's are good tyres but I heard they wear out way too quick but they provide excellent traction from what I've seen

That depends on what you are looking for in the tire. What's important to you?

(I posted a similar question somewhere else in the forum)
Which tire looks best on GS 400 stock chrome 17's?
235-45-17
245-45-17
245-40-17
or any other suggestions?

Thanks

go for the bridgestone re730 or toyot1-s, 245/45/17, they are both more square looking tyres.

I have Mich XGT's (rounded)
I also like the square look!!
There has been a debate throughout my research about Mich's vs Bridge. I'll take a look at the 730's though.
Any suggestions for tires like the Mich Sports?
