I think I may have answered these for you in the past, but heres a few answers to your questions.....Dave, hope you dont mind.

The blow off valve is mounted where it is by choice, its too pretty to hide down low. As far as performance goes, it makes no difference. By the way, the RMM kit does not come with a bov.

Dave has alot of extras on his kit that do not come with it from RMM, boost gauge, feul pump, larger injectors than the already larger ones that come with the kit, custom sized pulley, custom SRT ECU..which is not readily available, this was a one off, blow off valve.....Im probably missing something, but there was alot of trial and error to go into this particular set up to try and maximize it....its by no means the same as the RMM kit out of the box.
hey thanks for answering the q's...i sent u a pm...so as not to jack this thread anymore

Hmmm, I guess I've completed the writeup in a number of places.

Chapter 3A: I unveiled a bunch of 'new suprises' with my COTM last August. HREs 840R wheels, 355mm Brembo GT brakes, etc.

Click here for that writeup and pictures

Chapter 3B: Once I tried driving hard with the supercharger and the 2800 stall torque converter, I had a huge problem hitting the rev limiter even with the PWR mod turned off. WOT was not a lot of fun when you stutter and limp into second and third.

I swapped out my 2800 stall TC (sold, don't PM me) for a 2600 stall TC and that made a huge difference. The results are in this post (click here) :

Power from the supercharger is impressive, but still builds up (not all on at launch) so that around 3000 RPM on you can feel a lot of additional 'push' from the boost. I have never had traction problems with my GS and that remains the same with the SC unless I don't watch my surface or try it uphill/ on a turn, etc. due to the TRD LSD, nice big sticky tires and a very stiff suspension. Powerbrake from a launch . wham. valve body upgrade shifts almost immediately into second . wham. second doesn't last long either . wham. third and I'm almost at 100 mph before I know it.

At highway speeds this thing is a beast compared to stock. Driving to the Dragon meet last year, my girlfriend pulled up next to me in her NSX (now sold) and gunned it. Her car was usually slightly faster than mine at 60+ mph and up. I pulled away like she was driving a Civic DX. I seriously thought she had let off the gas and when I asked her about it when we stopped next she got mad and said stop rubbing it in .

Chapter 3C Trunk stereo components updated to more show-ready stuff click here for details

Chapter 3D I started a thread a few months ago that enticed members to 'spill the beans' on their winter plans (click here). I've accomplished most of my goals in that writeup.

1) New Sportdesign Titanium headlights are now on.
2) My JPI Performance alternator is in and working great!
3) My Elipse headunit has been repaired and re-installed. The tuning is much better than it was before and the bass (in combination with the higher current) is very impressive for a single 10" subwoofer
4) The black chrome trunk bar was not installed because it had a crease in it once I removed from packages so I didn't want to put it on. Good reminder, I still need to return it.

Couple of other new items in the works for this spring / summer

EDIT Added image for use elsewhere in 2021

Thanks T.L.W. for the bump and a half.

I always look forward to seeing and reading about DaveGS4's GS. It has the go and the show - the best GS (IMO).

DaveGS, I greatly appreciate your car and all the information you have contributed to this site as a member and volunteer moderator. You rock!
