Lexus owns me!!!
Well, after a month-long hiatus I am back in the GS game once again. Thank you to all of the good people here for their support and kind words that helped me get through the aftermath of my accident. Everything happens for a reason, I guess. My insurance company ended up totaling my 98 GS300 and giving me dealer retail for the vehicle.
So now it's time to start all over again. I introduce to you: my 2000 Platinnum Series GS400. She's currently sporting the Apexi WS cat-back exhaust system (THANKS Steve Ganz!!)and Tanabe Sustec SOC coilovers(Thank you again, Steve, LOL). Other than that, she is bone stock, and I love the extra power over the old GS3(RIP). Many mods to come...
edit...please ignore the retail establishments in the background....I saw a big empty parking lot and jumped out to snap a few quick pics

Well, you're going to need quite an accident to total THIS one!
Seriously...congragulations....and welcome back. Nice car. One question: after having a GS300 before, did you just want to upgrade to the V8, or did they give you a good deal on this car? I ask, because after having a 300, you might have been able to get a brand new 300 for only a little more than what this car ran. But...I agree.....the 400's power is enticing.

I love the V8.....but thats too much power for me. I'd be asking for trouble. The V8 in the S-Type I have has me scared. I can't seem to keep the speedometer under 70. I leave everyone at the light to..it's an addiction.
Can I drive it?

Congrats on the car! Did you happen to find it at Car Vision (which is located near Philly)? I looked at one that was almost identical to the one you posted above. I actually test drove the one at Car Vision. The car you have is actually the car that I've been looking for the past 2 months. I really like the wood trim on the Platinum Pkg. The perforated leather seats!
