Default Vote for Favorite Family Sedan "Lexus GS" Spike TV

You can vote for your favorite family car, and the Lexus GS is on the list, competing with other 4 door sporty cars. Right now the Nissan Maxima seems to be a favorite. Go and vote for Lexus or any other car you think should win the competition.

Sunday May 09, 10:00 PM (ET/PT)

Spike TV's "52 Favorite Cars" on Sunday, May 9th at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) and Saturday May 16th at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) is our showcase of cool customs, hot exotics and every-day grocery-getters -- in a way that only the first network for men can deliver. We'll be naming our Favorite Sports Car, our Favorite Hot Rod, our Favorite Car for a Mid-Life Crisis, our Favorite Truck, our Favorite Car to Dream About our Favorite Concept Car and much more. We'll be asking celebrities, fashion models, automotive professionals, parking lot attendants, journalists, cheerleaders, race car drivers, and all sorts of actual and "arm chair" experts to deliver a great list of favorite cars.

This 2-part special will introduce you to a new world of rare exotics, amazing custom hot-rods, legendary muscle cars and even some every day rides that should turn heads.

Considering the GS costs twice as much and is made in much less quantaties, we won't be winning this one.

that goes without saying. But it deserves more recognition than the Crown Victoria and Malibu.

Not to mention the fact that most people don't think of the GS as a "family sedan". I always tell people the Lexus is my family car, and there are a range of incredulous responses I've heard. Keep in mind, most folks choose a mini-van, sport ute, or more basic sedan (Camry, Accord, etc.).

Actually, lots of the choices on lots of those polls are rather weird. The only obvious mistake I saw was putting the Mini Cooper down under "favorite convertible" (unless there's a top-secret drop top I don't know about).

I also had to laugh... the same way the Maxima is running away with the family sedan category, the Corvette is running away with "favorite sports car". Tells you a lot about the average demographic of a Spike TV viewer...
