Front Bumper Question
I'm taking my car in the shop to get a nasty ding/big bump courtesy of a mystery car while I was eating. What do you guys think about repainting the bumper while I'm at it? 340 bucks more to get this done. Does that seem about right?
Should I consider any aftermarket bumpers for more dough? Thanks.
I realize this is a subjective question but any suggestions/pricing for alternative bumpers would be nice.

If you already have an aftermarket front (or kit) in mind, I'd say go for the front. You can either get the kit now or later but at least do the front. It will save on the painting costs. If you don't have one in mind, don't rush it just to save some money.
The third option is to start looking at kits, put off the painting until you find the kit, and then get the kit.

Thanks, guys. I have decided to repaint the bumper. Your advice is helpful and appreciated but it will probably be another six months before I do coilovers. As such, my steep driveway will be a delightful concern.
Would like to go kit but we'll see what happens after I come down an inch or more. Amazing. I live in Dallas and have a steep driveway.
Well, at least I'll have most of the bs dings and scratches gone!

I would definitely do a kit! Seen most of the rides on CL and believe me, its a tough choice! all depends on how deep your wallet is But i agree with these guys, if your gonna spend the money, do it right and get a kit.
