How far have you driven on a single tank of gas?

the most i cranked out was around 340 miles one time, but that involved some city driving in addition to highway.
QUESTION: do you guys have this issue with your fuel gauge? mine for some reason seems to dip lower every time i shut down and start the engine again. and sometimes, when it's under the 1/4 line, it'll slowly creep back up a bit when i'm warming up my car, then it goes back to a known state. so lately, i'm not sure if my fuel gauge is accurate.

Only issue here is the low fuel light goes on just a tiny bit below 1/4 tank for me. My Altima goes on when there is about 1/2-1/4 gallon left. To me both of these are useless.
2 gallons or so of warning would be perfect for me.
