I may be the outcast here but I think your trunk is BEAUTIFUL the way it is. Monitors in the trunk just seem pointless to me. PRetty slick for parking lot pimpin but I'm married sooooooo......

I say you just make the inner lid Carolina Blue Suede and call it a day. Focus on the interior some more. Maybe a 17 inch screen thats molded into the cieling like the one on Pimp My Ride.

Ken: Your current system setup is the nicest one i've seen so far. As for my opinions... I think flip down monitors doesnt give you the clean look as flushed in. Also flip down monitors are for minivans.

Good point. That's what I meant by "molded into the cieling" ..... Flush, so the lines of the interior aren't disturbed, too bad I don't have a photo to show you. If you already have monitors in the headrests, that should be enough, IMO of course. Maybe an upgrade to the 7 inch alpine screens??? Someone just monitors in their headrest that are the best install job I've ever seen, when I find the photos I'll post them....I think it was JunctionGS????

You guys are the best... Thank you for all of your ideas... I now have enough input to make my final decision so I will discuss the plans with the shop in a few days. The project will be kept a secret until it's complete and then I will post pics... Thanks

Thanks Darius for the prop and Neo for pointing you to my pic. You met me and saw the install at the SJ International Auto show, remember?

Ken, sorry for the late response. My body is just getting back to a normal schedule of eating and sleeping.

I say go for the big single monitor and put speakers on both sides. Play a custom DVD describing the mods in your car, for the spectators to see and hear. You WILL gather crowds, but the screen has to be big enough to see from a distance. That's why I wouldn't go for small monitors. SIZE not QUANTITY.

BTW, let me know if you will be competing at Hot Import Daze up my way in October. I'll need the heads up, so that Jawnthen can help me borrow the 42" plasma from my Family Room !

I don't remember if you're current setup has the 5.1 processor in it...but as you can see, my theme is "home theater in a trunk" so you might as well go crazy with it!
Jawnthen was joking with me about this idea, but I WASN'T !

Hey Glenn, yeah I remember, we'll have to hook up again. My car isn't worthy of the NorCal group yet....... but soon! Congrats on winning VIP @ Hot Import Nights. What do you have planned next? I don't want to hijack this thread so PM me if you can.

I think that one big lcd, if done right, would look really clean. I haven't seen too many sports sedans sport something like that (maybe just one). I think most go for having a ton of small screens where ever they can fit them. Thats just my opinion.
