Default JDM Aristo V300 from Hong Kong - *** PICS***

Hello all....

my parents just got back from Hong Kong today....they were there on a business trip and of course, I sent them with instructions on going a little shopping for me for my IS300......

So they went to this place:

and out front sat these beauties....

The silver one with the Blitz kit and the cf hood looks fantastic. I see an intercooler tube peeking out of the front bumper too. The black one looks like a stock aristo (hate the way he slaps on the Lexus logo in the back).

Honestly, when I was last in HK, I barely saw any Aristos or modified Toyotas at all. I saw tons of Evos and Skylines though. In fact I think I even walked by in front of the same shop. Is this in Mongkok area? Looks like it.

I did see a black Aristo with a full kit and huge front/rear red brembo big brakes. Upon closer inspection, it was actually a camouflaged GS300. Imagine my disappointment. All that stopping power for...well, for nothing.

its kind of funny to see the way that they rebadge theirs to look like ours (lexus) and we rebadge ours to look like theirs (Toyota).

Interesting setup on the silver Aristo, including the flares on the sides of the front bumper, eyelids on the headlights, and carbon fiber(?) on the side mirror housings.

This has to be a common occurrence in the streets of HK... a hooked-up mini van (body kit, lowered suspension and rims on the white Toyota Sienna in this example)

^^^^ and too bad couldnt see under the hood and check out that 2JZ-GTE under there!

My parents got me a few little trinkets, including TRD oil/radiator cap's for my 2JZ motor....I wish I had gone, I would have bought so much more, but I probably would have spent hours in customs upon return home trying to explain all the JDM parts....

The Lexus brand has been available in HK officially for quite a few years already, so they don't really need to rebadge But I think one can still get the "grey market" type Toyota versions there as well.
