Hi, I thought my 2001 GS 300 had a limited slip differential or "posi-trac" rear end. I read some other threads and I got the impression it does not. If anyone knows for sure could they please reply.

It does not from the factory. To my knowledge, NO US 2nd gen GS had LSD as standard or an option... all had to be added aftermarket.

Thanks romini and DaveGS4 for the information. When I change my differential fluid I do not need to worry about limited slip additives and just use any GL5 gear lube.

Correct you do not need a friction modifier additive or LSD fluid for your change.

I've never heard of ANY GS300 even being modified to add an LSD of any kind. Maybe a Supra 4.10 back end would work.
