Is L-Tuned worth it?

Hi,
I am relatively new to the Lexus family and am curious to know if the L-Tuned parts are worth the extra expense? What is the benefit to buying an L-Tuned part if you don't have the dealer put it on?
I am about to start my performance parts spending spree (much to the wife's dismay) and I want to make sure I am spending my dinero in the right place and on the right parts........
Thanks in advance for the insight.
Ira

Well, as an L-Tuned parts enthusiast my views are biased, but my take on them is that Lexus isn't about to pick or make lousy products to put on their cars, so my experience has been that the quality is great.
Also, the parts aren't on the 'fringe' of upgrades, they tend to keep more of the refinement than some of the more exotic enthusiast upgrades.
The springs/shocks are a mild handling upgrade relative to say, Teins, but they're tuned to retain comfort while still giving a significant improvement in handling capability. They're also probably the LEAST EXPENSIVE upgrade actually.
The exhaust isn't as loud as some, but it's certainly not a minor change in sound or looks - it's GREAT. The quality is also TERRIFIC.
I'm sure the grille and skirts are high quality and match the paint colors great. You might be able to get cheaper parts like these, but I'm doubtful the quality will be as high.
So it's not just about price, it's about what you want (mild to wild) and quality.
Hope that helps.

It depends on what you want to mod your car into. If you are looking for pure performance, only L-Tuned ECU is suitable to you IMO. You are better off with coilover in suspension, other aftermarket exhaust or cat-back system to replace the stock ones.
If you don't want to sacrifice the ride comfort, L-Tuned may be the one you're looking for. L-tuned suspension has lots of positive feedbacks from members and Steve is a great guy to do business with. Great price with great service.
