Swift vs RMM vs L-Tuned vs TRD vs etc
#1
In your opinion and experience, what are the parts to purchase from each company and why? I about to start buying all the go-fast and turn sharp parts I think I need (for now) and am seeking input re: your favorite parts and why?
For instance, I am thinking about the HFI from Swift, Borla exhaust, TC from Swift, Trans & Steering ECU from Swift and LSD from RMM from but don't know if someone makes something better or, for instance, if I shouldn't do a particular upgrade at all.
Also, thinking of Eibach Springs, and KYB shocks but am unsure whose sways and strut bar to purchase.
Someone HELP, the cash is burning a hole in my pocket (actually, I have to spend it before the wife finds it)
Thanks,
Ira

let us do it quick
fro the power and drive train, you pretty much covered all the bases.
but as far as the LSD, i am not sure. memory recalls TRD might be a better choice. i need others to verify. what is your budget? usually mods are very personal, anmd most members do one thing at a time. for example, if you are ahppy with just the TC, or, your driving requiste might not need a LSD.
sway and struts, trd seemed to be the way to go, considering price and quality. the suupension part is the first i would go for. the reason being that handling is most important for me in daily driving. in a way, it is part of active safety. do not forget the firmer steering ECU from l-tunes-the most economical way to upgrade steering feel.
if you go for the eibachs, i would suggests you the bilsteins sport shocks-one of the best, if not the best in the world. bilsteins shocks are actually the OEM for many toyota and lex parts in europe. these shocks are so good, they offer lifetime warranty.
if money is an issue, L-tuned springs and shocks might do just fine. but if you opt for the eibach/bilsteins, i can get you a set of bilsteins shocks at the lowest(last time i checked) nation wide price of $425

See the post from Steve Ganz aka SUPRATRD regarding the TRD LSD. Great price, limited offer. I'll be installing mine next week.
