I made an expensive mistake when I decided to tint my 99 GS400. There was no tint on the glass but the glass had a slight green hue to it. Well, I thought I had done my homework and got the "best" tint, fully metalized HP quantum solarguard tint. 35% on front windows, 14% on all others. Well, after I got it back my windows had a green reflection, which I think looked AWFUL. I complained about the look and said I wouldn't have gotten this tint if I knew my windows were gonna look so green.

I ended up paying another $100 to have the HP Charcoal tint, (is metalized, but has dye in it as well) 20% on all windows and MAN, does it look 100% better! It was an expensive mistake but now I couldn't be happier with the tint. Just in case you do decide to go with fully metalized tint, make sure your windows don't have a green hue or you will not be happy after!

If someone want to help me figure out how to resize my pics so that I can finally post some I would LOVE it!

The same happened to my mom's GS....but not green...it was a yellow hue...due to the Lexus factory UV protection manufactured into the glass.

My brother bought her the tint and chose a mirror-like silver metallic tint.....when it was done.....the tints are kinda yellowish.....which didnt match her Millenium Silver car.

As for resizing your photos....do you have Photoshop? Fireworks? There is a "Save for the Web" feature that will lower the file size.
