Default how to take off GS 430 /400/300 Leather and Wood Shift **** ?

any input on this i dont want to damage mine .

unscrew it....counter-clockwise (left loosey...righty tighty)

The first time it might be a little tight. You just have to torque it a little.

its hard to break it i think......simply unscrew it in the right direction thats all pretty simple

That little ring will not effect it in anyway shape or form. It should either turn with the **** or turn freely.... hope that helps.
